Under 6 Development Team – Boys and Girls (Aged 4-5)

The Under 6 Development Team is for boys and girls aged 4-5 (School Year Reception and Year 1) from Potton and the surrounding area. This introductory stage focuses on fostering a love for football through fun, play-based activities.

Sessions are designed to develop motor skills, balance, and coordination, while also introducing children to the very basics of football, such as kicking, dribbling, and simple teamwork. The emphasis is on creating a safe, enjoyable, and pressure-free environment where young players can explore and build confidence.

Our experienced coaches use age-appropriate games and activities to keep children engaged and excited about the sport. This stage lays the foundation for future participation and helps children develop a positive attitude towards physical activity and teamwork.

The Under 6 Development Team prioritises fun, inclusion, and the early building blocks of football skills, creating a memorable first experience with the game.

Please note = In line with FA rules for Year 1 and younger, children are not permitted to play in organised matches until they turn 6.
